Jon Corbett

Jon has over 30 years’ experience working in Corporate & Business Banking, of which 20 years were spent operating in leadership roles at Director level within Barclays.

During this time, Jon led various teams of Regional Leaders, Relationship Directors & Relationship Managers working with large companies through to mid-sized corporates, SME’s and start-ups across the South Midlands and beyond. Immediately prior to leaving Barclays, after a 37-year career, Jon built and led a new national Lending Centre of Excellence operation within Barclays Business Banking.

Since leaving Barclays in 2024, Jon has set up his own company utilising is extensive business knowledge and experience to provide support and advice to organisations. He is a Consultant with TC Group, a Top 25 Business Advisory and Accountancy Firm and is also a Strategy Partner with Franklins Solicitors LLP.  Both firms have offices in Northampton & Milton Keynes. Furthermore, Jon is a Banking Consultant with Commercial Sense Ltd.

A co-founder of the Silverstone Technology Cluster, Jon has gained valuable experience as a Chair and Executive in various private and public sector partnership organisations.  These have included:

Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership Jon has lived in & around Milton Keynes all his life. Aside from spending valuable quality time with his wife, children and grandchildren, he is an avid football fan, supporting Derby County & is also a UEFA B Qualified Football Coach
